To date, the announced amendment to the Decree No. 371/2015 Coll., implementing certain provisions of the Waste Act, has not been adopted. The announced changes in the keeping of records of packaging and non-packaging products placed on the market in connection with eco-modulation were to take place from 1 January 2023.

In particular, the draft Decree regulates selected details on the material composition of packaging and non-packaging products in relation to durability, reparability, reusability, recyclability and the presence of hazardous substances through a new Annex 10c. It also sets out how producers of packaging and non-packaging products shall provide data on the material composition of packaging and non-packaging products placed on the market to the Contracting Producer Responsibility Organisation for Packaging.

We would also like to inform you that as a producer responsibility organisation we have fulfilled our obligation under Section 28(4)(h) of Act No. 79/2015 Coll. on waste and we have submitted to the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic the lists of represented producers of electric and electronic equipment, batteries and accumulators.
